Finnish Aviation Academy (Suomen Ilmailuopisto Oy) is a limited liability company operating as a vocational aviation academy. Since July 2021, it has been owned by the Finnish state (98.0%) and the city of Pori (2.0%).
Executive Management Team
The Executive Management Team of the Aviation Academy consists of the Managing Director and the heads of the academy’s operational sectors.
The Managing Director’s remuneration consists of a monthly salary, part of which may include a company car benefit. No other financial benefits are provided. The retirement age of the Managing Director is 65. There are no supplementary pension benefits. The Board of Directors determines the Managing Director’s monthly salary annually.

Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of Finnish Aviation Academy serves as the governing body of the academy and consists of six members.
The Chair and members of the Board receive a monthly fee and a meeting fee. No other financial benefits are provided. The Annual General Meeting determines the remuneration of the Chair and Board members each year.
